About Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Research Center
The Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Research Center aims to develop treatments for various intractable diseases. Patient-derived blood cells, tissues, serum, and DNA are collected and reprogrammed to generate induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Through research on differentiating these iPSCs into diverse cells, tissues, and organoids, the Center is dedicated to advancing clinical applications and developing foundational technologies for industrialization. Collaborative research with various clinical departments and basic sciences aims to overcome barriers to clinical application and supports efforts to treat intractable diseases.
