About Center for Integrative Rheumatoid Transcriptomics and Dynamics
The Center for Integrative Rheumatoid Transcriptomics and Dynamics (CIRTD) conducts basic and clinical research on autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. In collaboration with domestic and international research institutions, the Center nurtures the next generation of biomedical scientists. Using a systems biology approach, it analyzes disease onset and progression, elucidates signaling pathways and gene regulatory mechanisms, and advances research with direct clinical applications. Additionally, the Center pursues interdisciplinary collaborations with fields such as ophthalmology, gastroenterology, oncology, and transplant immunology, with the goals of early diagnosis, development of personalized therapies, and innovative drug discovery. Guided by creativity and collaboration, the Center is at the forefront of precision medicine.
