About Cancer Evolution Research Center
To overcome the limitations of traditional cancer research, often restricted to single time points, single sites, gene-centric studies, and screening-based approaches, the Cancer Evolution Research Center aims to broaden and deepen research across the full cancer continuum. This includes genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic analyses, as well as functional validation studies. The Center emphasizes reciprocal collaboration between basic and clinical sciences, improving efficiency through the use of public big data and enhancing clinically oriented research. Its mission is to advance basic medical research that directly benefits patients by bridging foundational discoveries with clinical applications.
