The Catholic Prostate Research Institute was established on July 1, 2014, with the mission of leading both basic and clinical research on prostate diseases in Korea, while strengthening research capabilities to achieve world-class standards.

Through translational research that bridges basic science and clinical practice, the Institute aims to establish a personalized, evidence-based system for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of prostate diseases. Furthermore, by fostering international research collaboration and academic exchange, it aspires to become a global institute for prostate research.
