START Center for Medical Simulation

Located on the 8th floor of Seong-eui Hall, the START Center for Medical Simulation was established in May 2005. The center provides students with opportunities to acquire fundamental clinical performance skills through a variety of training methods, including basic clinical skills training using task trainers, simulation training with standardized patients, and patient simulation training with high-fidelity simulators.
In addition, the center develops and hosts a wide range of simulation-based training programs to help physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals maintain and advance their clinical performance competencies, thereby serving as a hub for professional medical education and training.

Academic and Research Activities
The center has conducted a variety of studies on simulation-based learning and assessment. Since its inaugural symposium in October 2005, the center has actively engaged in both internal and external academic activities, fostering dynamic exchanges with educators across diverse fields of health care.

- Provides training programs for simulation educators.
Community and Social Contribution Activities
- Provides CPR training for students, health care professionals, and the general public.
- Offers various health care education programs.
- Carries out community service activities such as educational camps.
